Men's Flower Lapel Pin – Formal Suit Accessory | Vittorio Vico

I used this pin to draw eyes up and away from the bustline of a formal black dress (folks living life post double mastectomy often have to find creative ways to make conventional clothing work for them). The pin worked wonderfully, many guests asked about it and didn’t say a word about my new shape.

The pin came packed in a small envelope style gift box which did a good job of protecting the rose “leaves”. The leaves were evenly colored, front and back, fully finished. There was a very low smell to the leather, which I appreciated. Being leather, this item will generally be long-lasting (in normal use). I keep mine in the box when I am not wearing it to keep dust of and preserve the shape.

Overall, this is a good choice for non-vegans who are looking for a pin or brooch that can be worn to a variety of events and has a classic or timeless appeal.

Overview: I love this pin. I ordered it to go with a black suit and chose the black color, so it's very understated on my outfit, but the details on this are amazing. The leather is very soft and yet feels much more durable than other flowery lapel pins and similar accessories I've tried. I love it.

Detailed Review:

Unboxing: zero frustration. It comes in a kind of box that pops open very easily inside a plastic sleeve which is easy to remove. No problems whatsoever.

Use: it has a standard pin back, so if you struggle with those you can replace it with a rubber or locking pin back as you prefer. Stick the pin through the lapel, put on the back, you're good to go.

Overall, I really do love this pin. The variety of colors available is really nice because you can have it either stand out, as the details in the piece are really good enough to allow for that, or you can have it be more understated and it won't look trashy either way. It looks and feels like a high quality accessory.

It's the right size for a man's boutonairre (sp?) but I plan to attach this to the band of a straw hat. Love the deep teal color and the easy pin attachment so I can use it on different things. Nice, thanks!
