Vittorio Farina Men's Satin Zipper Necktie

This is the first time I've ever seen a tie with a zipper! The zipper does make the neckband kind of thick so I recommend wearing a shirt with it that has a collar wide and stiff enough to stay down. It doesn't feel or look like satin (not saying it isn't). Might be tricky for a first time user and the zipper is a bit hard to bring up and down. Still a nice tie.

This zipper tie is quite attractive. I love it for church – my lazy side especially appreciates not having to tie the knot and struggle to get it just right. With this one, I can simply put it on and zip it up. Perfect solution for those days when I want to look sharp without the hassle.

It's exactly as described. The zipper works well and the fabric is nice. The 19 ~ 20 inch length is a touch short for myself. That said, the description is accurate and I should have checked what would be the best length for me.

100% polyester can feel many different ways, this tie feels silky smooth and has a subtle shine, I really like the quality of the fabric. The tie opens up to a width of roughly 3 ½” and has a length of 20” from tip to top of the knot.

This is a zipper tie, which means it’s very quick to put on and adjust, and it looks like a traditional tie. The zipper mechanism is smooth and there is a lever right under the knot to lock the zipper so that the tie doesn’t unzip.

I recommend this tie, fits my 5’11” self perfectly.

This tie is one of the weirdest I've ever owned. It is also not for someone with a large neck. I struggled to figure it out how to even use it. There is a zipper along the smaller portion of the tie. When you pull up on the loop that is at the top of the knot, the neck opens up. You have to pull it down over your head and adjust it once pulled down. It's good if you hate tying a tie or don't know how. If you are larger than average, it may not work for you. It looked nice, though, and looked exactly as presented.

I consider this wardrobe stable for any young man. My son is in a mentorship group, and this is one of their colors. So this sees lots of use. It has wood, stowed me, steaming it to get slight wrinkles out, being packed and suitcases, as well as being owned by a teenage boy lol. Great value for the money for sure!

Yes, it resembles a clip on... but it's actually SO much better. Forget struggling with the proper look or lay of your knot... as this tie always looks great with a knot that never looks crooked or misshaped. You can quickly and easily don or remove the tie simply by zipping or unzipping the hidden zipper on the backside of the tie. Pushing down on the zipper locks it in place so it doesn't slip or enlarge throughout the workday. Then removing is as easy as pulling the zipper out of the locked position and gently pulling on either side of the knot at the same time to enlarge the neck-hole. All ties should be this simple and easy!

I used this for a DK cosplay. Its a zipper tie, so easiest setup. If you're looking for a more traditional tie-it-yourself tie, then this probably isn't it, but a good quick solution for costumes and kiddos.

I got this for my son who is 6’,3” tall and it’s a little short for him also the zipper tends to stick making it tricky to remove. The color is beautiful and the tie definitely looks well-made other than the above mentioned flaws.

These a decent looking ties, especially for the price. The ease of having them pretied so they can easily be slipped on is a great feature. The zipper section allows for the tie to be slipped over the neck, pre-tied and then pulled into place.

I got this for my teenage son who doesn't know how to tie a tie yet. I do, but it normally takes several attempts to get it just right, so I would probably not be the best teacher. I had never seen a zipper tie before, but I'm so glad that I took a chance and got it. It's so easy to put on and get off. You simply pull on the loop to enlarge it to go over your head, then zipper up to tighten. My son is very excited to try this out the next time he gets dressed up, and he appreciates the simplicity of it. I chose the red one for him. It is a nice, vibrant, true red color, and the material is soft and silky. We are both happy with it.

As most people, if they have used a zip tie previously, will know, if you do not have the tie on it can be difficult to unzip. This one is no different, but once you have it on and you want to remove it, it unzips no problems.

The material is a soft silky style, and it is well put together. I wore it to work the other day and it was comfortable and looked great all day long.

This is a pre-tied tie with a zipper closure to allow some room to adjust for neck size.

I had my doubts about the setup with the zipper, but it seems to work OK. If you need a tie for a kid, or perhaps someone who has issues with their hands and tying a tie, it'll do the job. It also looks a little more "realistic" than the classic clip-on style.

The tie itself is perfectly fine... the polyester material is pretty nice; length and width seem about right to me. I got the gold option, and it's definitely a bit more gold than the photo. I was picturing more of a "golden yellow" from the photo, but it's pretty solidly just "gold."

I've had some zipper ties that didn't hold the tie up. It would unzip a little with time. This one has a sort of locking mechanism when the zipper latch is pushed down which seems to help keep the length where you need it.

I really like the zipper ties. They are much easier to put on than the ones you have to tie. The zipper on this tie works flawlessly and the tie hangs straight. The material is kinda soft and the color is very appealing. I can find nothing to complain about with this tie, I like it a lot.

I ordered this for my soon to be college graduate who doesn’t know how to tie a tie, I felt this would be a good starter for him to get used to wearing a tie. The zipper mechanism is pretty cool, once you figure it out… it did take me a hot minute. The one thing about the tie I received, silver, is that the zipper part is black and not the same color as the tie so if you do not have it tucked in and tightened properly you will see the black portion and that likely won’t look great, other than that is is a really pretty tie and I think he will be pleased.

This is great for those times in which you can't tie your tie, either because lack of time, or when someone is learning, the zipper function is just amazing... whoever invented that is a genius, highly recommended.

At first, I was confused by the zipper. But once I figured that out, I really like this tie. Looks great and so simple to wear. No need to tie it, just pull it tight.
