Had totally forgotten about ascots. Haven't seen anyone wear one in years except in old B&W 40's movies. That is about to change. Pictured is my black, western cut leather sport coat (shot under incandescent light) and sans shirt. Second image is B&W to better show the contrast. This is going to look way better than wearing a spread collar shirt with or without a tie. Jacket is large enough to wear a ski sweater underneath but rarely gets that cold where I live. Believe this will work for me in spring and fall with blue jeans and black western boots.
Pocket square might have looked good but none of my sport jackets have a breast pocket. They are all western cut.
Seamstress stitched the pocket square to the ascot probably to ensure that it got packed. Too many tight stitches. Didn't have a seam ripper so carefully used a cuticle scissor but you can still see where it was tightly sewn. Crease might come out with ironing. Sewer should have used a tag gun instead of a sewing machine.
The polka dot pattern is sharp and timeless. Both the ascot and pocket square feel high quality and add a fun, elegant touch to any outfit. Perfect for formal events or a bold everyday look!

Definitely a more ivory color than the off-white shown on the product listing but still, very nice, especially if you're going for a vintage look. Doesn't wrinkle easily and was ready to wear right out of the package.
White with black polka dots was not a good color choice, I'm afraid. The polyester fabric is thin enough that polka dots on the other side show through, just a little, but it can be noticed if someone's looking. I have two other Vittorio Farina cravats, and they're fine because of the solid colors.
Great quality , value is good and the size is good (I'm 6 foot 2).
