I consider this wardrobe stable for any young man. My son is in a mentorship group, and this is one of their colors. So this sees lots of use. It has wood, stowed me, steaming it to get slight wrinkles out, being packed and suitcases, as well as being owned by a teenage boy lol. Great value for the money for sure!

This is the first time I've ever seen a tie with a zipper! The zipper does make the neckband kind of thick so I recommend wearing a shirt with it that has a collar wide and stiff enough to stay down. It doesn't feel or look like satin (not saying it isn't). Might be tricky for a first time user and the zipper is a bit hard to bring up and down. Still a nice tie.

Yes, it resembles a clip on... but it's actually SO much better. Forget struggling with the proper look or lay of your knot... as this tie always looks great with a knot that never looks crooked or misshaped. You can quickly and easily don or remove the tie simply by zipping or unzipping the hidden zipper on the backside of the tie. Pushing down on the zipper locks it in place so it doesn't slip or enlarge throughout the workday. Then removing is as easy as pulling the zipper out of the locked position and gently pulling on either side of the knot at the same time to enlarge the neck-hole. All ties should be this simple and easy!

I used this for a DK cosplay. Its a zipper tie, so easiest setup. If you're looking for a more traditional tie-it-yourself tie, then this probably isn't it, but a good quick solution for costumes and kiddos.
